Native of Dallas, Texas, Claire Dillahunty (soprano) received a BME at Dallas Baptist University and in May 2020 received her graduate vocal performance degree from SMU. She has performed in the New York Lyric Opera Summer Program in Carnegie Hall and the National Opera Center, the Miami Music Festival, multiple DBU productions at the Irving Arts Center, and the Dallas Opera’s education outreach program with performances at the Winspear Opera House. Roles include Emily in Our Town, Despina in Così fan tutte, Angelica in Suor Angelica, Manuelita in Pépito, Eva in An Embarassing Position, Maria in The Sound of Music, Guinevere in Camelot, and Eliza in My Fair Lady. Claire also enjoys choral and orchestral conducting (student conductor at DBU 2016-17) and has played classical piano and harp for twelve years.
